Hi students,
please complete the Writing Part 3 exercise as discussed in class. Please use the handouts for help with common expressions and how to structure your letter. Pay attention to punctutation (commas, new lines, full stops etc.). You should write approximately 100 words. Make sure you read the task carefully and respond adequately. If you don't have a favourite TV programme, choose anything. Your answer doesn't have to be 100% true , you can invent some stuff :)

ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear your news and I like to answer your questions.
My favourite programme is "Hercule Poirot adventures", by Agatha Christy.
In these fictions Poirot is the most important, clever and famouse detectiver of the world.
He is from belgium but he lives in London and sometimes in the coutryside of England.
He has got a precious friend: capitain Hastings and a very nice secretary, miss Lemon. They help him to resolve the cases.
I like so much this fictions specially when the actor is David Suchet. He is great. I would like to know him in my real life. He will be my special best friend.
He is very eccentric, but he has got a deep soul and a great heart. He is religious and often he preys and he is a very gentleman, too.
I like so much capitain Hastins, too. He is a tender, pacific man. His soul is clean, simple and honest like a baby. He has got a great sense of honour.
And miss lemon....what a nice, and funny woman! I like her look! her wardrobe is elegant.!
So, I like these fictions becouse I learn many thinks: human values, style, fashion, habits and costums of old england and sense of humor, too!
Well, I have to go now, it's time to say goodbye.

I don't' watch TV very often because in my apartment in Catania there isn't one. I use to watch more films, an series by Pc but when I return at my parent's Home in Syracuse I watch with they a very nice show. It' call "La vita รจ una figata"( in your language "Life is cool one). The conductor, Bebe Vio a famous Paralympic champion of fencing, welcomes at her home some ordinary person and characters of culture, sport, and entertainment that say her them story.
I like it because it's a positive show; many time the Babe's interlocutor is a person that had a problem, a disability but that lives life with strength and joy.
Well, I have to go now but keep in touch!

ReplyDeleteit’s nice to read your letter . How are you? I hope everything is fine in your life , and I’m happy to answer to your questions.
In this period I watch a lot of tv programmes , but one of my favorites is “MasterChef Italia” . In this programme the competitors have to cook complicated meal for the judges.Moreover, the judges are very famous chefs, like : Joe Bastianich , Bruno Barbieri , Antonino Cannavacciuolo and Carlo Cracco . The competitors have to challenge each other , but only three competitors will arrive to the final episode and the judges will choose the best chef . The winner will win € 50,000 and the opportunity to work in a starred restaurant .
I love this programme because I like cooking and , sometimes , I reproduce some recipes .
Anyway , I have to go now . It was a pleasure to hear you , I really hope to hear from you soon .

Regarding your question, I prefer seeing series Tv on Netflix, even if I love a television show which is called "Tale e quale show". It's on first in the evening every Friday. In this programme, there are famous people which belong to cinema, theatre, or sing world who are made up and mimics famous singers. They are very similar! Moreover, after each one has sung there is a jury which value the same exhibition. The mark is related to make up, if they are or not similar to those singers, and how they have sung.
I love it because, as you know, I like listening to music of different kind. Because of that, on Friday I can relax with good music.

I like watching TV, and I like a lot of TV programmes. One of this that I prefer is "Italia's got talent". This is every Saturday at 9:20,and I usually watch it before I go out. This is a very nice programme where there are a lot of people that show their ability,like as singers, dancers or magicians. After their exhibitions they receive a vote by the judges of the programme.
I like it very much, because I can see wonderful things and because there are also very funny things.
