Lesson 14/05 and homework

Hi students,

as we have looked at the Computer Based Exam in class yesterday for the Reading and Writing, please also have a look at the Listening at home:

http://www.cambridgeenglish.org/exams-and-tests/preliminary/preparation/

You can do the computer based Listening and check your answers with the Answer Key. Just make sure you copy your answers on a piece of paper before the time is up as they will disappear after the time is up.

See you on Thursday for feedback on the computer based mock and the progress test which you have completed at home! :)

Lesson 26/04

Hi students,

for homework please complete the Writing part 2 and part 3 tasks at the end of the book as discussed in class.

On Thursday, we will finish our 2nd round of Mock Tests.

After this, we will take some time to get familiar with the computer based version so you are fully ready. Don't worry about that yet though, we will have a look together on Monday 7th of May.

In the meantime, you can watch this tutorial to get a general idea. Please watch it before Monday 7th of May.

Lesson 08/03/18

Hi students,

today we did some preparation for the exam - Writing Part 1 and Listening Part 1 & 4.

For "homework", you can go through the Units we left in the Workbook and choose which topics/grammar/vocabulary you feel you need to work on / revise.

Here are some links which can be very useful for preparing for the exam:

https://www.examenglish.com/grammar/b1_grammar.html
When you click on a Grammar point, it will let you do some quiz-type questions or you can click "Show explanation" and it will give you the grammar rules and examples related to this grammar point.

https://www.examenglish.com/vocabulary/B1_vocabulary_topics.htm
When you click on a topic, it will let you do some quiz-type questions or you can click "See all words" and it will show you the list of words related to this topic with a definition.

This PDF is an extensive list of vocabulary tested at PET level; it is organized alphabetically (beginning) and BY TOPIC further down in the PDF.

Have a good weekend and see you on Monday!
